Travel resources

Travel is a huge part of my dream life. Here are some tools and apps I use to make it happen.
AirBnB is my first stop for accommodation. It’s generally significantly cheaper, I get a whole apartment or house for my girls and I, it has wifi etc and it’s like a home away from home. I have only ever had one issue with a host and AirBnB were brilliant. I got a full refund and learnt a few things about what to look for.

Flights are booked through a few sources. Skiplagged is an interesting concept because there are many flights that go half full or certain flight paths which are cheaper for where you want to go. Skiplagged finds them for you. If you don’t mind waiting for and pouncing on an amazing deal check out Secret Flying. They regularly post amazing deals.

I travel for work at times either as a social influencer, speaker at an event or for conferences. This is an old post about how to do conferences for cheap. Alternatively, I have 29 ways to make money travelling here.

My favourite travel podcast is The Neverending Nomad, (the site is undergoing a makeover and relaunch). You can listen to old episodes in iTunes.
